just as described.it has an attached.welded in =cannot be removed bridge in the middle with gaps at both ends probably for easy cleaning and arranging the mini boxes.thus unless you close it off you can't just throw your stuff in there without worrying that small bits will end up next compartment.this not suitable for powders or liquids or glitter unless it's sealed off with cling film.the boxes can be turned sideways.
